由主音Adam Levine、結他手James Valentine、低音結他手Mickey Madden、鍵琴手Jesse
Carmichael及鼓手Matt Flynn組成的Maroon 5於2002年出道，並推出首張大碟《Songs About
Jane》，充滿爆炸力、又夠hip的作品如：〈This Love〉、〈She Will Be
Loved〉等在世界各地迅即熱爆，唱片於英國、美國、加拿大及澳洲合共奪得17白金的銷量，令樂隊大熱贏得2004年格林美及MTV音樂大獎最佳新人等
多個大獎。Maroon 5之後於2005年推出的Live CD & DVD《Live – Friday the 13th》，Adam
Levine現場演繹無懈可擊的假音，令樂迷對Maroon 5更是如癡如醉，樂隊在同年再贏得格林美音樂大獎最佳流行組合獎，實力再一次獲肯定。

2007年Maroon 5推出第2張大碟《It Won’t Be Soon Before Long》，熱賣歌曲包括：〈Makes Me
Wonder〉、〈If I Never See Your Face
Again〉等，首周銷量已達40多萬，輕易成為美國Billboard冠軍大碟，樂隊亦再一次贏得格林美最佳流行組合一獎，樂隊受歡迎程度與日俱增。今
年Maroon 5遠赴瑞士日內瓦，創作出最新大碟《Hands All
Over》，唱片推出短短兩個多月在美國即奪得金唱片成績，主打曲〈Misery〉節奏輕快又易上口，早已成為樂迷啷啷上口的hit song。
